Where Have the Small Fish Gone?

Just come back from a fishing trip to the River Arrow in Warwickshire!

It appears that there are very few small fish left, around the Alcester area.

Maybe it was the floods we have recently had, maybe the flood water pushed the small fish away downstream.

There are still plenty of large fish around, bream, barbel and chubb, but it means you have to wait a long time for a bite, if the fish are not too keen.

Found a real nice general fishing website which gives some useful info from Carp Fishing tackle to Winter Crappie Fishing in the States.

If you want to have a look go to www.fishingcave.com

Off now to sort my gear for a canal match this weekend!
